Sometimes I just let my pencil do the work, no thinking involved. Characters just pop up, others just poop up, it depends on what's around you and how it translates on paper.

It's been a while since I posted anything. Working those animated soap boxes like a Mo'fo'. So I'm taking this time to post this.
As always, you get hit with the question, can you make an anime style illustration, I'm not a big fan of anime, though there's some pretty cool stuff going about. But it bores me a little bit (Just a personal thought, you can wear your Naruto Head Band or jump in your Mecha anytime you want). I was hit with the question a couple of months ago, for a Manga project. but it went cold for some reason.

Actually it's a Gorilla which is a Primate but this is not Biology School nor I'm trying to wear the smart pants today. Actually the Gorilla with the Gun is the first draft for the Logo of my Band URSUS. I play guitar with my brother on bass, it's a pretty safe bet you'll never hear of us 'cuz we are lazy. Oh, and ignore the the soldier-guy with the bucket on his head.... it seemed like a good idea at the time...

Hey, Good morning or evening or whenever you get to see this. I, in no way, shape or form want to intrude or pretend to manage your web surfing time. I'm an animator, graphic artist (though I hate calling myself "artist", I don't drink that many lattes!) and sometimes editor of T.V. commercials in Panama city, Panama. Yeah, I know, sad... Then again this is a space not to hear me rant (though it's bound to happen, cuz I'm bitter and full of hate), but a place to show another face of what I do, which happens to be my passion. Character animation, Character design and Comicbooks.
Caveat Emptor, I'm a horrible-horrible person and more than likely you might find something that will offend you in more ways than one, if that happens you and your mother can go to another blog!!!! Hehehehe, I kid, I kid. I welcome any coments on my illustrations cuz I think that's the fastest way to grow. And if you got to read all the way down here, you need to find something to do. I don't know, fly a kite, look for crude oil, build a better bedpan, your choice...
